Background
Maskin Mekano was founded in 1956 in Jönköping in the South of Sweden by two brothers. After a various range of owners during the 1980s and 1990s the company is owned by the Smedenman family since 1997. Maskin Mekano has manufactered high quality equipment from the very beginning.
The Ls 200, launched in the 1970s, for topsoil production was a breakthrough in the mobile sector. Maskin Mekano has also built a lot of custom-designed machines for both crushing and screening. The plants are well-known for being sturdy and well-built, always with user-friendly solutions. The first electrically driven screening plant was the Ls 400, a popular plant in the 80's.
The Maskin Mekano of today has developed a strong standard range of mobile crushing and screening plants with a unique combination of high capacity and high quality.
